that may be the most distant galaxy now, but we will never know the farthest galaxy because of the way space functions. All the stars and plants and moons and everything out in space is constantly moving away from one another, thus space is all the time getting bigger and bigger. It overwhelming to think about.
And p.s. the galaxy they are talking about was around 13 billion light years away, Meaning that the way that astronomers saw the galaxy looking was actually how it looked 13 billion years ago because the light took so long to reach earth. Cool huh?
